Have a strong balanced composition
Pick your ONE bestie of the show and email your photo to Leith.Taylor@rasmussen.edu by 5:00 pm Saturday with your name, cell number and email address. Be sure to put “SUNCOAST” in the subject line of the email.
Three judges, Rasmussen College Faculty and Instructors, will pick the winner and the winner’s name will be announced on or about 2 pm Sunday, 1/18 from the entertainment stage. Winner will be notified earlier that day so s/he can be there to accept the prize.
The fine print – make sure you read this before starting!
The Suncoast Arts Fest is a family-friendly event and all photos should reflect this. However, please no photo featuring face-on pictures of minors (OK to have them in the picture)
Always ask permission from the artist if you’re shooting photos around their booths and their art
Collect information on art or artists photographed such as artist’s name, media, etc.
Phoneographers agree that SAF may use any submitted photos for promotions free of charge
No digital enhancement by cellphone apps (OK to crop and adjust light)
No photos with the main focus of a store front or a store sign
No photos with a piece of art as the main focus (OK to have art in the photo)
Photos will be posted on Facebook and www.SuncoastArtsFest.com.
Rasmussen College volunteer students and staff will be available to help at all times.
